Bible Promise for 2006: Jan. 29 - Feb. 4 Deuteronomy 5:33
If you really have decided to follow Jesus, God desires that you go all the way. And that’s not a “if you can thing”; it’s a command. God here is telling the Israelites that they must walk in all the way that He has commanded them to live and prosper and prolong their days in Canaan. There was no other way for them to receive blessings from God. “Walk in all the way” He told them. No arguments or discussions would be entertained in this matter. Now, we are not living according to the law that God gave Moses for the Israelites to obey. We as believers have more freedom but the command to us is still the same. “Walk in all the way” that we too may live and prosper and prolong our days. There’s no other way to divine blessings. God wants you to live and prosper spiritually, physically and materially. He wants you to live a long and fruitful life as you serve Him day in and day out. And His Holy Spirit is there all along to guide you into all the truth through the Word of God. God loves children who are obedient and revere His word. Have you been walking in all the way that God has commanded you to? If not make a new decision today and thereby live and prosper all the days of your life. God bless you.
