Growing New Mission |
The
GFI has commissioned 175 native missionaries, working
in nine states of India. They have been used
of God to raise up to 158 pioneer churches in previously
unreached village in India–13 in Orissa State
alone.
GFI has pioneered two Reach out Bible Institutes,
one in Orissa and another “All India” national
training center in southern India. Hundreds of missionary
candidates are applying for training and service.
Both schools are boot camp-style facilities designed
to motivate and train native missionaries from the
Scriptures. |

Planting In Villages |

| Most
Indians live in one-room houses shared with cows,
goats, chickens, etc., not suitable for church
services. Therefore, young churches must meet in
rented halls or shelters of bamboo poles and palm
leaves which usually collapse during the monsoon
season. Great need exists for permanent church
buildings. To construct such a facility costs about
U.S. $6,000. |
